FolkEssence Fragrance Oils - Moonshine & The Romantics

I discovered FolkEssence fragrance oils roughly two years ago. The scent variety is fantastic!! On a whim, I decided to tinker around with the oils to create my very own, homemade perfume.

How I did it —

I added a base/ carrier to my perfume bottle first, I chose to work with hyaluronic acid in serum-form. I added probably 10 droppers full of serum into my bottle first (a 30mL glass bottle).
Next, I chose my fragrances to mix. I ended up choosing ONE oil from the “Moonshine” set and THREE oils from “The Romantics” set.

* Oud Bouquet aka: “Whiff of Love”

* Honey Nectar aka: “Velvet Kiss”

* Sweet Pea Symphony aka: “Lace & Candlelight”

I made several attempts to perfect the formula - how much of each oil to add to the perfume bottle. In the end, I absolutely nailed it.
Surprisingly, my favorite oils by themselves are the Oud Bouquet from “The Romantics” and Amber & Smoke from “Moonshine,” (this one is fabulous on its own surprisingly).

All mixed together, I filled the rest of my 30mL perfume bottle with alcohol-free, ROSE, Witch Hazel. The final step was simple — shake vigorously for a few minutes and let sit overnight to marinate.

The end result?? Perfect consistency, ZERO separation, and an unusually milk-white color (I also added sparkle, nail art powder for some shimmer)…. Ultimately, an absolutely gorgeous scent, part masculine and part feminine yet completely divine. That is actually what I named my homemade perfume — “Divinity.”

I ordered my fragrance oil sets off Amazon, so you probably won’t see “Verified” next to my name for this review. I came to this website to actually find these two sets since they are both unavailable on Amazon today. Unfortunately, I’m out of luck because “Moonshine” is out of stock currently and “The Romantics” is priced at $100 — I probably paid around 19 dollars for it on Amazon.

I am hoping Folkulture/ FolkEssence will reach out to me as I did to them, I’m in desperate need of my four specific oils to refill my Divinity perfume at home!!!! Thank you for reading :)

Only oils I will use. So far Moonshine is my favorite, haven't tried any other scents, but all the different scents in this set I love !!! Highly recommend Folkulture for their fantastic oils !!!!
